I am many things
I am a qualified Civil Marriage Celebrant, have a diploma of Professional Writing and Editing and am completing a degree in Religion and Spirituality. I am a teacher, student, actress and administrator; roles which support my life's purpose: to understand the nature of relationships.
I am fascinated and inspired by the concept of relationship. As such I have the profound priviledge of helping people express what is meaningful in their lives and assisting them to better understand their relationships.
Being deeply spiritual I have great respect for religious traditions, but find they do not always adequately convey our current secular society's spiritual needs.
As a simple metaphor, ceremony provides a bridge that assists people to express their spirituality through a rite of passage. As a celebrant I facilitate this personal transcendence in a public arena;
by using symbol, ritual, humor, creativity, drama and sacred knowledge
to tell your unique story. By incorporating cultural and religious
knowledge and tradition I create secular rituals that reflect your
unique spirituality.
