A Baby Naming Ceremony is a beautiful way to welcome your child into the world and to welcome them to the rest of the family. It's also a lovely way to reaffirm your family ties, your friendship bonds and your community connections.

Some examples of rituals:
Character trait cards – (given out to all the guests to teach the child the trait in their lifetime)
Coloured ribbon – tied to the cot by each member of the family or guests to symbolise the threads that weave the tapestry of child's life
Elements – (water, air, earth, fire)
Tree/seed planting – To be not only a symbol of the growing child/ family tree, but a protector of the clan
Naming of God parents – or acceptance of godparents role
Jewellery – gift with child's name on it
